President Donald Trump is scheduled to appear in Daytona Beach on Friday, Oct. 30, at one of his final rallies for Republican candidates before the November midterm election. The visit comes one week after he campaigned for candidates in Fort Myers, Florida.

The rally will be held Friday night at the Ocean Center Convention Center, 101 N. Atlantic Avenue. Trump is expected to speak at 7 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., and all attendees must use the west entrance.

Parking and lining up begin early. The Ocean Center parking garage and the Blue Lot open at 6 a.m., and the Blue Lot is where attendees can start queuing. At 8 a.m., the Orange Lot, the Daytona Beach Grande and other lots open, though fees apply.

Admission is first come, first served. When organizers were last checked on Thursday night, people could still RSVP, with a limit of four tickets per signup.

Everyone entering the venue must pass a security screening, and backpacks and bags cannot exceed 18 x 13 x 7 inches. Prohibited items include firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapons of any kind, toy guns, mace and pepper spray. Alcohol, aerosols, flammable liquids, spray containers and e-cigarettes are also banned.

The list goes on to cover banners, signs, placards, sign supports, balloons, balls and noisemakers. Drones, laser pointers, range finders and selfie sticks are not allowed, nor are certain electronic devices, including Flipper Zero, Pineapple Wi-Fi routers and Raspberry Pi-enabled devices. Coolers, packages, and glass, thermal or metal containers must stay home, as must bicycles, recreational motorized mobility devices and structures. Animals are barred unless they are service or guide animals. Chairs are allowed while waiting in line but cannot be brought inside.

Travelers using Daytona Beach International Airport on Friday should allow extra time because of expected traffic, congestion and possible road closures.

Several roads will be affected on Friday. Atlantic Avenue will be closed between Oak Ridge Blvd. and Main Street from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Earl Street will be closed starting at 8 a.m., and Peninsula Drive will be closed between Main Street and Ora Street starting at 4 p.m. Officials said more roads will be closed temporarily as Trump arrives at and leaves the Ocean Center.

"We appreciate the community's patience and cooperation. Please allow extra travel time, follow directions from law enforcement officers, and use alternate routes whenever possible. Public safety remains our highest priority," the Daytona Beach Police Department said in a statement.

Election Day in Florida is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Early voting is underway and ends on Oct. 31.
