As per the latest trends from the Election Commission of India, the Bharatiya Janata Party is suffering a huge loss in Rajasthan. Congress party and other parties including Independent candidates are giving a tough competition to the BJP.
As the counting of votes is currently underway, the latest trends from the Election Commission of India (ECI) suggest that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has set to suffer a huge loss in Rajasthan Lok Sabha elections 2024. As per the latest trends, the party is leading on 13 seats only while its major competitor Congress is ahead on nine seats. Apart from these two, CPI (M), Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) are leading on one seat each. Seats on which the Congress party is currently leading include Churu, Ganganagar, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, Bharatpur, Jaipur Rural, Jhunjhunu and Barmer.
Latest trends from ECI
BAP's candidate Raj Kumar Roat is leading from the Banswara constituency. On the other hand, RLP's Hanuman Beniwal is ahead in the Nagaur seat. CPI (M) Amraram is leading from the Sikar Lok Sabha seat in the latest trends.
In the previous General Elections in 2019, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA clinched all the 25 seats in the state. Not only in 2019, Modi-led BJP had the similar result in 2014 as the party clinched all 25 seats in the General Elections. As per the latest trend, BJP's Manju Sharma has clinched Jaipur Lok Sabha constituency by a huge margin of over 2,25,000 votes.
As per the India TV-CNX Exit Poll results, the BJP was likely to win 21-23 seats of the total 25 seats in the state. While the rival Congress was expected to settle with 2-4 seats.
