A single viral TikTok sketch generated over 9 million likes in January, a performance metric that directly catalyzed a multiyear content deal between Druski and Netflix. The agreement, announced alongside his production company 4LIFERS Entertainment, marks a formal transition of his short-form digital content to a global streaming platform.
The centerpiece of the deal is a new semi-scripted series titled Collect & Praise. Set to debut on Dec. 1, the show features Druski as a financially motivated megachurch pastor and Mike Epps as his deacon. The narrative focuses on the duo’s management of their congregation, explicitly prioritizing financial gain over religious devotion. This format expands upon the specific character that initially drove his viral success on social media.
Beyond the new series, Netflix will acquire the rights to distribute Druski’s existing body of work. The licensed catalog includes the films Coulda Been Love and Coulda Been Daddy, as well as the series Coulda Been Records Auditions. The streaming service will also acquire his viral skits, integrating his previous digital output into its library. This structure allows the platform to utilize proven audience engagement while funding new original programming.
Druski described the partnership as a resource expansion for his team. In a press release, he stated that the deal provides the necessary tools to build on his comedy foundation and reach a new global audience. He framed the opportunity as a chance for 4LIFERS Entertainment to develop original programming for a wider demographic. John Derderian, who oversees Next Gen Content at Netflix, cited Druski’s ability to create characters that generate sustained public conversation as a key factor in the decision.
The announcement coincides with Druski’s upcoming role as a host for Saturday Night Live. He is scheduled to appear on Nov. 7, which will make him the first digital creator to host the long-running sketch show. This television milestone occurs just days before the new Netflix deal becomes public knowledge to the general audience.
