The Washington Wizards scored 75 points on Saturday night, marking the lowest offensive total in the NBA this season. Their opponents, the Oklahoma City Thunder, won the game 114-75.

The Wizards struggled badly from the field. They made only 29 of 98 shots for a 29.6 percent success rate. Their three-point shooting was equally poor, with just 7 successes on 43 attempts. This performance extended their losing streak to three games.

Oklahoma City performed well despite missing three key players. The team is 8-2 after winning five of its last seven games while without starters Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace, and Chet Holmgren. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 30 points, playing only three quarters. Jared McCain added 19 points, and rookie Aday Mara contributed 18 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks.

The Wizards played without big man Anthony Davis. Rookie AJ Dybantsa scored 19 points, and Alex Sarr recorded a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Trae Young, who attended local schools in Oklahoma, was held to one made field goal in six attempts. He finished the game with four points.

Oklahoma City built a large lead early. They shot 50 percent in the first half to take a 57-36 lead. By the end of the third quarter, the Thunder led 90-59 after a three-pointer from rookie Bennett Stirtz. The gap widened to 109-69 on a basket by newcomer Micah Peavy.

Both teams had played NBA Cup games the night before, but the back-to-back schedule did not slow down Oklahoma City. Hall of Famer Allen Iverson was in the crowd for a birthday celebration. The Wizards play at Detroit on Monday night, while the Thunder visit Portland on Tuesday.
